Abstract These rules set out how the Court works, when and where it sits, its management of documents, and how the proceedings in the Court are publicly notified; how proceedings in the Court are dealt with, from making the initial application through to its conclusion; and how appeals are heard by the Māori Appellate Court. The objectives of these rules are to (a) facilitate access to the Court; and (b) secure the just, speedy, and inexpensive dispatch of the business of the Court.
