Abstract The purposes and objects of this Act are to provide for the continuance of a supply of power adequate for the needs of the province, and to engage in and to promote economy and efficiency in the development, generation, transmission, distribution, supply and end-use of power. The Act continues in operation the Manitoba Hydro, a corporation who is an agent of the Crown responsible for the administration of the Act. Part I of the Act regulates the operation of the corporation. Part II is dedicated to the distribution and supply of power and, among others, provides for inspection and enforcement.
