The Order grants to the Producer Board the power to levy charges for the marketing of hogs in Manitoba. In particular, section 2 establishes that every producer shall pay to the Producer Board, in respect of any hogs marketed by the producer in interprovincial or export trade from Manitoba, a levy as listed in this section.
