Abstract

For the purpose of the present Regulation "manifest" means a document approved by the department to be used for shipments of hazardous waste, and includes an environmental control document approved by the department. The text deals with the following matters: Application, obtaining manifest forms, general instructions for completing a manifest, compulsory use of licensed carrier, delivery of waste by carrier to consignee. consignments of recyclable material within Manitoba, transport or transfer by single consignor, multiple pick-ups within Manitoba, delivery of multiple pick-up load, retention of forms by consignors, failure of the consignor to receive completed manifest, manifest discrepancy, use of second carrier and multiple manifests. The text consists of 13 sections.
