Abstract

With a view to preserving, protecting and improving the quality of the environment and protecting human health, these Regulations lay down provisions governing: (a) the monitoring and classification of bathing water quality; (b) the management of bathing water quality; and (c) access to information concerning bathing water quality. These provisions transpose those laid down under Directives 2000/60/EC and 2006/7/EC.
