Abstract

This chapter of the Maine Revised Statutes concerns the Maine Water Well Program. It provides that the Maine Water Well Program is established to provide the public with the highest quality drinking water possible by ensuring that water wells are drilled, constructed, altered or abandoned in a manner that protects groundwater from contamination.
