Abstract

These Rules are framed by the government of the state of Maharashtra in exercise of the powers conferred by the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Act). It consists of twelve parts, namely: I. Preliminary; II. Establishment and Composition of the State Veterinary Council; III. Election of Members to the State Council; IV. Election of President of the State Veterinary Council; V. Procedure of transaction of business of the State Council; VI. Powers and Duties of the President; VII. Executive and Other Committees; VIII. Fees and Allowances to President, and other Members of the State Council and Members of the Committees; IX. Tenure of Office, Powers and Duties of Registrar and other Officers and Servants of the State Council; X. Registration; XI. Accounts; and XII. Miscellaneous.
