The implementation of provisions of the advisory ensures the availability of healthy and disease free poultry meat, eggs and live birds for human consumption. As per the Advisory, registration of every business/enterprise having minimum capacity of 5000 poultry birds and hatcheries having capacity of 500 hatching eggs per cycle is mandatory. It provides for the procedure of application and inspection by the registration authority to ensure compliance with the conditions and laws mentioned therein.
