Abstract

The Act provides the State Government to appoint an Inspector to assess the plants of particular areas for pests or diseases. The Act also details out the method in which owners of land containing diseased or infected plants may seek compensation for their timely destruction and lays down the penalties for contravention of the provisions of the Act.
