Article 1 establishes that whenever the competent authority detects the existence of fowl pest in a stock, its safe destruction shall take place without delay. Moreover, if the need arises, the competent authority can limit or ban poultry breeding, to prevent or fight the disease. Such a pest may be particularly harmful in case of contacts with wild birds, such as, for example, wild ducks or wild geese. The text consists of 9 articles.
