Abstract

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the keeping of bees in Lower Austria. The purpose of the Law is to regulate the keeping and breeding of bees including their migration. Apiculture is a part of agriculture and everybody is allowed to practice it. The text consists of 14 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Migration of bees (II); Breeding of bees (III); Bee sorts (IV); Trespasses and penalties (V); Authorities and proceedings (VI); Final provisions (VII).
