Abstract

The Proclamation provides for destruction of locusts. It requires a Chief whenever locusts appear or deposit their eggs to notice the nearest district office or police, who shall on receipt of such notice, inform the department to which the work of extermination of locusts is assigned. A Chief shall also take care of destruction of locusts.
