Abstract

This Ordinance makes provision for the government of the Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie and Oeno Islands and for this purpose establishes various government bodies and provides with respect to the functioning of these bodies. The Ordinance also defines powers of the Islands Council. The Council may regulate a wide variety of matters including environmental issues, fisheries and agricultural activities. The Council shall be a body corporate.
