Abstract

The present Regulation is made under the Emergency Measures Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to emergency planning and preparedness on behalf of local authorities. Section 8 establishes that each local authority must prepare a hazard and risk assessment that identifies all natural and human-made hazards and risks that could reasonably cause, in its geographic area of jurisdiction. The text consists of 16 sections and 1 Schedule relating to qualifications of municipal emergency coordinator.
