Abstract

These Regulations provide for the issue of permits for the sale (as defined in section 2) of livestock to be issued by Chiefs or District Officers in the form as set out in the First Schedule. Any person purchasing (as defined in section 2) livestock, whose sale is authorized under the present Regulations, shall at the moment of purchase endorse on the permit the type and number of livestock purchased and shall submit a return on such purchase within seven days to specified officers in accordance with regulation 7. The Minister may exempt, upon application, any person from the provisions of regulation 7. (10 regulations completed by 3 Schedules: the Second Schedule specifies fees and the Third Schedule contains a form of the return)
