Abstract

The purpose of the present Law is to: a) secure the appropriate care and placement of animals; b) avoid that animals suffer, in particular in the case of slaughtering. The text consists of 34 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Freedom of movement and equipment of stables (2); Social contacts, airing, light, noise (3); Nature of soil (4); Intensity of care (5); Safeguard of animal protection (6); Final and transitional provisions (7).
