Sale of animals shall be prohibited unless the name of the herd owner is registered, the animal has been tested for tuberculosis in ruminating animals and a statement regarding such testing is displayed. Bovine animal brought to a livestock mart shall comply with regulations 8 and 9 of the European Communities (Identification and Registration of Bovine Animals Regulations 2009.
