Abstract

The present Regulation enacts sections 5 and 10 of the Livestock Identification Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the identification of livestock. The text consists of 55 sections divided into 4 Parts as follows: Interpretation (1); Shipment and inspection of livestock (2); Hides and hide dealers (3); Slaughterhouse and slaughterhouse operators (3.1); Detention and seizure (4); General (5). Two Schedules are enclosed.
