Abstract

The present Regulations enact the Livestock Health Services Act. Section 3 of the Regulations establish that the Minister may enter into an agreement with the Veterinary Association to provide for the delivery of livestock health services to eligible livestock owners. Furthermore, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to meat inspection programme, cattle herd health programme, swine herd health programme, local livestock health services boards and additional veterinary services.
