Abstract This Regulation the licensing requirement and procedures to operate as livestock dealers and livestock dealers’ agents in the territory of Alberta. Licences are issued and renewed by the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development and the applicant for a licence must submit all information the Minister may require, in addition to that required by this Regulation (sect. 5). Under section 11, business premises of a livestock dealer or livestock dealer's agent can be subject to inspection.
