Abstract This Act, consisting of 55 sections divided into six Parts and completed by three Schedules, aims to protect and enhance the quality of the Tasmanian environment by prohibiting the deposit of litter in the environment, regulating the distribution of materials that may become litter and by facilitating the removal of litter.
