It prohibits the leaving, throwing, depositing or abandoning of litter in public places, provides for inspections and, under section 10, where a person is found guilty of an offence against this Act, the court, in addition to any other penalty, may order the person found guilty to pay the reasonable costs of cleaning up the litter with which the offence was committed.
