Abstract

These Regulations, made under the National Environmental Management Biodiversity Act, 2004, prohibit restricted activities in terms of section 57(2) (in the Table) and exempt, in terms of section 57(4)(a), persons from the restriction contemplated in section 57(1). Section 57 concerns restricted activities involving listed threatened or protected species.
