Abstract

This Article of the Agriculture and Markets Law of New York provides for licensing of slaughterhouses, specifically, supervision of the slaughtering of animals and fowl. Its purpose is the protection of the public health. It further lays down rules for slaughterhouse licenses; requirements for posting of inspection results; and denial, revocation and suspension of licenses.
