The Regulation lays down provisions relating to licensing of municipal drinking water systems. In particular, section 1 establishes that the day that a municipal drinking water licence is first issued to the owner of a municipal drinking water system is specified as the day on and after which the owner shall ensure that an accredited operating authority is in charge of the system.
