Abstract

This Legislative Decree lays down the animal health requirements governing trade in and imports of animals, semen, ova and embryos not subject to animal health requirements established by particular Community rules. Article 4 sets out the general requirements for animal exchanges. Furthermore, articles 5-10 establish the specific requirements applicable to exchanges of particular animal species; article 11 lays down the requirements for semen, ova and embryos exchanges; articles 17 and 18 refer to import conditions.
