Abstract

This Legislative Decree establishes the administrative sanctions to be applied in case of infringement of the provisions laid down in Regulation 1760/2000/EC, which sets out a system for the identification and registration of bovines, and Regulation 1825/2000/EC, which regulates the labelling of beef and beef products. Chapter I of the Legislative Decree concerns the violation of the rules relating to the identification (through particular marking systems) and registration of bovine animals; Chapter II establishes the sanctions to be applied in case of violation of the provisions concerning labelling.
