This Legislative Decree enters into force 180 days after its publication.
Abstract

This Decree establishes the general principles for the control of the safety and quality of food and feed, the responsibilities which are incumbent on food business operators as well as the procedures in case of risk, with a view to ensure a high level of health and health protection. consumers' quality of life. The Decree defines "animal feed" as any substance or product, including additives, processed, partially processed or unprocessed, intended to be used for oral feeding to animals.
