This Legislative Decree enters into force One month after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Legislative Decree is composed of 33 articles: definitions and terms of reference (art. 2); competencies of the Environment Body: elaborating policy and action plans for environmental protection, research, contracts and agreements (art. 3); cooperation with different authorities interested in environmental protection (art. 4); pesticide use must respect requirements and rules fixed by the Environment Body (art. 10); conditions setting closed and semi-closed public places (art. 12); issuing permits for the circulation and production of hazardous substances (arts. 14 and 15); penalties (art. 24); Decree No. 9 of 1980 is now abrogated (art. 30).
