Abstract

The aim of this Legislative Decree is to regulate fishing, and the exploitation and protection of marine wealth. This Legislative Decree is composed of 6 Chapters divided into 38 articles. Chapter 1 deals with terms and definitions. Chapter 2 provides for licences and in particular for: (a) fishing vessel licences; (b) Commercial fishing licences for foreigners; (c) licences for research and scientific studies; (d) fishing amateur licences; (e) application procedures for licences; and (f) fees,
