This Legislative Decree enters into force 10 days after is publication.
Abstract

This Legislative Decree, consisting of 4 Chapters, establishes the competent authorities for tourism planning and special touristic areas management. The tourism planning and special touristic areas management will be regulated by National societies for touristic development which shall be created by Decree-Law. In the special touristic areas of the islands of Boa Vista and Maio, tourism management and administration will be under the responsibility of an anonymous society with exclusively public capitals. The Legislative Decree is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); Special norms for the tourism development society of the islands of Boa Vista and Maio (Chap. II); Temporary management and administration structure within the special touristic areas (Chap. III); Final provisions (Chap. IV).
