The present Act enters into force on 1 June 1992.
Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the issuing of certificates of registration to beekeepers. Section 3 establishes that no person shall own or have in his or her possession any bees or beekeeping equipment unless the person holds a certificate. The present text – consisting of 11 sections – deals with the following matters: application for registration, term of certificate, register, cancellation of certificate and offence and penalty.
