It establishes the Seed Council to advise the Minister and regulates the production, importation and placing on the market of seed. The Law also requires the Minister to establish a Seed Inspection Service, which shall carry out quality control and certification of seed. The Minister shall publish a list of plant species that may be cultivated for the production of seed certified by the Service. Producers shall apply for a permit to produce such certified and published seed. The Service shall maintain a register of recognized seed importers. Full text Dutch Website www.dna.sr
