Abstract

The purpose of this Law, consisting of eight Chapters, is to purpose of the Law is to regulate animals, plants and their raw materials, products, veterinary and phytosanitary inspection. General provisions (Chap. I); Animals and plants, raw materials and products across state borders (Chap. II); Passenger hand baggage and goods subject to quarantine inspection (Chap. III); Animals and plants, raw materials and goods carried by vehicles across state borders (Chap. IV); Previous inspection and certification of imports and exports (Chap. V); Risk analysis and assessment, and risk tolerance (Chap. VI); Rights and duties of citizens and legal entities (Chap. VII); Other matters (Chap. VIII).
