The present Lsw enters into force on 1 January 1968.
Abstract

The present Law implements the federal legislation on water rights. Article 1 establishes that the Canton has the sovereign right over public waters, and in particular local authorities. The text consists of 100 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Organization (II); Waterworks and maintenance of waters (III); Exploitation of waters (IV); Financial provisions (V); Implementation, penalties and transitional and final provisions (VI).
