This Law enters into force on 13 July 2012.

Abstract

This Law regulates the measures and actions aimed to protect the environment and human health by preventing or reducing the adverse impacts of the generation and management of waste and by reducing its overall impact on used resource, also by increasing the efficiency of waste management activities on the territory of the Bulgarian Republic (such as waste prevention and reduction, management of hazardous waste, re-use, recovery and recycling of waste, inspection, offences and penalties and many more).
