The Slovak Commission for the Environment is established as a central authority for the care and protection of the environment (art. 2). The Commission also manages the regional environmental offices and the Slovak Environmental Inspection which is the professional control body that performs state supervision for the Commission. The Slovak Environmental Inspection performs control activity in the range and under the conditions according to special regulations (art. 8). There are provisions relating to penalties relating to the law (art. 9). Full text English
