Abstract

This Law regulates the critical infrastructure of the Republic Srpska, the sectors of critical infrastructure present on its territory, the management of critical infrastructures, the obligation to prepare a risk analysis, the security plan of facilities from the critical infrastructure sector, the security coordinator and the person responsible for the management and protection of critical infrastructure facilities, cooperation in the field of critical infrastructure, handling of protected data, supervision over the implementation of this law, as well as misdemeanor provisions. Critical infrastructures are systems, networks and facilities of particular importance, where the destruction or endangerment of the same can cause a serious disruption in the free movement of people, the transportation of goods and the provision of services, negatively affect internal security, health and lives of people, property, the environment, external security, economic stability, and continuous functioning of the republic's organs. Sectors from which the critical infrastructure is determined are: 1) industry, energy and mining (production, including input resources, facilities, transmission systems, storage, transportation of products, energy sources and energy, distribution systems), 2) information- communication infrastructure (electronic communications, data transmission, information systems, provision of audio, and audio and video media services), 3) traffic (road, rail and air traffic and traffic on inland waterways), 4) health (health care, production, transport and supervision of medicines), 5) communal activities (objects of communal infrastructure, especially in the field of water production and delivery, waste water treatment and disposal, heat energy production and delivery, disposal of waste from residential and business premises, etc.), 6) water management (regulatory and protective water facilities), 7) food and drink (production and supply of food and drink, food and drink safety system, department stores he), 8) finance (banking, stock exchanges, investments, insurance and payment systems), 9) production, storage and transportation of dangerous substances (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear materials), 10) public services, 11) upbringing and education, 12) cultural and natural assets (religious objects, cultural monuments, spatial cultural and historical entities, archaeological sites, famous places, works of art and historical objects, archival material, film material, old and rare books, as well as protected natural assets prescribed by the Law on nature protection).
