The Law consists of 74 articles divided into 8 Chapters: General provisions (1); Consumers' rights and economic partners' duties (2); Quality brands and formality formation (3); Commercial fraud repression (4); Measures banning products, goods and services that may cause serious or immediate hazards (5); Procedures for inspection of quality and safety of products, goods and services (6); Penalties (7); Final provisions (8). Production refers to operations including animal husbandry, dairy production, harvesting, fruit collection, fisheries, etc. (art. 1).
