Abstract The present Law establishes that the authorities of the Canton Basel-Landschaft should – within the framework of the relative federal legislation and the cantonal constitutional law – act with all available legal and political means in such a way that no nuclear power planta shall be built according to the principle of nuclear fission, and no treatment plants for nuclear fuel or deposits for medium and high level radioactive residues shall be erected.
