This Law enters into force 3 months after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Law consists of 6 Chapters divided into 31 articles. The provisions of this Law apply to fishing waters, inland waters, and seabed and sea bottom soil as defined in Chapter 1. Article 3 provides for the establishment of the Living Aquatic Resources Board by the Minister of Water Resources. Competences of the Board are to: propose policies for the protection, development and proper exploitation of living aquatic resources; propose programmes for fishing regulations, and supervise their imple
