Abstract

Article 1 establishes that the area marked in red in the enclosed Annex is proclaimed National Park “Hamburgisches Wattenmeer.” The purpose of the Park is to conserve the wadden sea including some dune islands for their own purposes, and, in particular, to protect it as living space for organisms and animals living there, as well as the symbiosis existing among them. Moreover, the landscape between the estuaries of the Elbe and the Weser is of particular importance for research purposes. The text consists of 9 articles and 1 Annex.
