Abstract

The present Law lays down provisions relating to the transformation of the existing Geophysical Institute to the Leibniz Institute for Applied Geophysics. This Institute shall carry out geophysical research and examine the structure, state and processes in the upper geo-sphere and develop new geophysical methods. The Mineral, Energy and Geology Office shall make available their data for the Leibniz Institute to facilitate its work. The text consists of 11 articles.
