Entry into force notes

This Law will be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force on the day of Croatian accession to the European Union.

Abstract

This Law establishes the competent authority and duties of the competent bodies for the correct and necessary implementation of the Regulation (EC) no. 258/97 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 January 1997 concerning novel foods and new food ingredients (OJ L 43, 14 2nd 1997) and related to its application on the Croatian territory.
