Abstract This Law establishes the basic principles of social and child/infant protection in terms of minimum social and health guarantees and human needs to be respected and considered of public interest in the Republic of Montenegro. This Law also sets the terms for the performance of social and child protection activities. Social and child protection is an activity that provides and implements measures and programmes intended for individuals and families with unfavorable personal or family circumstances, which include prevention, assistance in meeting of basic living needs and support of different types.
