Abstract This Law regulates the competence and organization of sanitary and health care inspection, appointment of sanitary and health inspectors, authorizations and the procedure for performing inspection supervision. In the field of sanitary-hygienic and epidemiological protection, the Inspectorate, among other matters, supervises the implementation of measures for the prevention and detection of infectious diseases in food production and trade facilities and for the protection against harmful substances that impact public health.
