Abstract

The objective of this Law, consisting of five Chapters, is to regulate matters related to energy generation and use of renewable energy sources. This Law applies to all legal persons within the Mongolian State territory involved in electricity and heating production and supply. It establishes licensing requirements for renewable energy production. Parliament shall formulate policies on renewable energy and to transfer the ownership of independent sources. General Provisions (Chap. I); Powers of State Agencies (Chap. II); Licensing (Chap. III); Price and Tariffs (Chap. IV); Other Provisions (Chap. V).
