While the burden of the Ministry of Energy's obligations in supplying electricity has been clearly reduced. Article 3 provides that the resources resulting from the implementation of this Law would be used for the costs of electricity production and supply, support for the development of technologies required by the electricity industry and plans for optimization and modification of the energy consumption pattern and the completion of half-finished plans. This Law amends as well the electricity sales tariffs to all types of subscribers. This Law permits as well export of electricity, specially from renewable resources, for the private sector after ensuring that the supply of domestic electricity according to the annual announcement plan is secured.
