Abstract The present Law aims at: a) the preservation of landscape including its uniqueness and diversity and its sustainable development, b) the conservation of biodiversity; c) the preservation and maintenance of the cultural and historical heritage, especially valuable heritage sites, their buildings and equipment, as well as environment and archaeological sites; d) the promotion of measures for the benefit of nature and landscape, historic preservation and archaeology.
