Entry into force notes
The present Law enters into force on 1 May 2011.
Abstract

The present Law aims at: a) the preservation of landscape including its uniqueness and diversity and its sustainable development, b) the conservation of biodiversity; c) the preservation and maintenance of the cultural and historical heritage, especially valuable heritage sites, their buildings and equipment, as well as environment and archaeological sites; d) the promotion of measures for the benefit of nature and landscape, historic preservation and archaeology. The text consists of 51 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Protection of landscape and nature (II); Protection of cultural heritage (III); Financial provisions (IV); Legal protection (V); Penalties and recovery of the legal status (VI); Final provisions (VII).
