Abstract This Law establishes the system of protection and rescue in emergency situations, power and subjects aimed to offer the protection and rescue related services, rights and obligations of government bodies and other institutions, bodies of local governments and their responsibilities, companies and other legal entities that have to offer certain levels of civil and environmental protection on the territory of the Republic of Srpska (autonomous region part of the BIH Federation), the rights and duties of citizens, emergency response strategy and treatments of certain specific emergency situations, the organization and activities of civil protection in the system of protection.
